In the unlikely event that your purchase is damaged in shipping to you, please ask your delivery person to acknowledge the damage and note it on any shipping/receipt documentation you are asked to sign. STANDARD(GROUND)SHIPPING WITHIN THE U.S.

Our products are hand made to order, so please allow 2 to 3 weeks for them to be shipped from Connecticut. You will be notified by e-mail if your order will take longer than 3 weeks to ship.

We usually ship via FedEx Ground (which is estimated at 5-7 days for delivery). Shipments are made only to a street address (or to an APO/FPO box). Contact CustomerService@GlassPutter.com if you have any questions concerning shipping.

We provide FREE SHIPPING on all internet orders shipped to addresses within the continental U.S.A. (You pay shipping costs only in the event of returns, exchanges, replacements, or incorrect shipping address.)

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Because customer service and satisfaction is very important to us, we accept international orders dependent upon customs requirements, cost of shipment and insurance relative to the weight and value of the item, anticipated delivery times, etc.

International orders are processed and charged as follows:

  • When you place your order online, we will respond promptly by e-mail to confirm that your order can be reasonably shipped to your location.
  • Your credit card will be charged for the cost of your purchases when your order is packed for shipment, together with a $5.00 packaging and special handling charge per order. (That's one $5.00 surcharge per total order, not per item.)
  • All international shipments will be sent by air because ground transportation can be extremely slow.
  • Immediately upon shipment, we will place a second charge on your credit card for the exact cost of air shipment to you.
  • We will confirm shipment by e-mail, at which time we will also notify you of the amount of the shipping charge placed on your card.
  • In certain instances (e.g., if your credit card issuer is not a correspondent with our local banking systems), we may request wire transfer of U.S. funds in advance of shipment.
  • All charges and fees are in U.S. dollars.
  • All customs duty, tariffs, and/or import fees are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

Ray Mathews, Jr. and his staff welcome visitors to experience the fascination of glassblowing and to personally test the glass golf putters on the mini putting green! Glass blowing classes and workshops are now available on an ongoing basis at the Glass Hut! For additional information, the latest schedule, and space availability:

The Glass Hut is open to the public:

  • Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
  • Sunday from 12:00 noon - 4:00 p.m.
  • Other times by chance or by appontment

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO THE GLASS HUT:

Coming NORTH on I-95 (the Connecticut Turnpike) FROM NEW HAVEN, take Exit #53 (Short Beach-Branford.) At the exit ramp at the light, take a LEFT into the Rotary. At the 2nd light, take a right onto Main Street; then take the 2nd right onto North Harbor Street (Richlin Plaza on LEFT) and follow it down to where the road bends. On your right is the GLASS HUT.

Coming SOUTH on I-95 (the Connecticut Turnpike) TOWARDS NEW HAVEN, take Exit #54 (Cedar Street-Branford). At the exit ramp at the light, take a LEFT onto Cedar Street. At the light (Route 1), go straight and follow Cedar Street to the end to Main Street. Take a RIGHT onto Main Street; and at the first light, take a LEFT (Kirkham Street); then take the 1st RIGHT (Elm Street). Go to the end where it bends = the GLASS HUT (59 North Harbor Street).
